About Chime - the story so far

Chime Management Limited was founded by managing director Francis McEntegart LLB (Hons). Francis was called to the Bar in 1998. He originally acted as in-house lawyer for a very successful London based music publishing house. He then moved to become head of legal & business affairs at a major independent record company.

Francis was asked to set up and develop a media department for DWF Solicitors, one of the largest law firms in the north of England. Francis has also worked for one of the region's other large law firms, Brabners Chaffe Street LLP, where he was an associate with the intellectual property & commercial law team.

Francis has significant experience in media & entertainment and the commercial aspects of business from start-ups to large corporations such as Trinity Mirror plc and Emap plc.

Francis is listed in the Legal Experts guide for media and entertainment.

Francis McEntegart

In September 2007, Chime's Managing Director. Francis McEntegart, was asked to sit for artist, Anthony Brown's 100 Heads Thinking As One.

In Anthony's own words: "The Exhibition subjects are all chosen for their unique contribution to Liverpool life, their individual strength and spirit and their involvement and inspiration within the artists life and work. Some subjects have achieved celebrity, others have achieved tremendous success in their chosen field, but all have achieved a life story."
